India’s ODI Series Loss vs New Zealand Puts Ravindra Jadeja Under Scanner

India lost the series to New Zealand in the ODI format by 1-2. It is for the first time that New Zealand has won an ODI series in Indian territory. The performance of senior all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja in this series is not up to the mark, and that is why he is being criticized.

Jadeja is out of form for quite a while now. In ODIs, Jadeja is not contributing much with both bat and ball. Jadeja has scored only 43 runs in three matches at an average of 14.33. His performances with the ball have been even worse. This is the first time since 2017 that he has failed to take a single wicket in a three-match ODI series.

Last year, Jadeja played 10 ODIs in 2025 and scored only 106 runs in seven innings. His best score was 32 runs. In 2023, he played 26 matches and scored 309 runs. Talking about his career, Jadeja has played 210 matches in ODI cricket and has scored 2905 runs at an average of 32.27. His best score is 87 runs. He has scored 13 half-centuries.
