Weather Change Brings Cloud Cover, Nights Turn Warmer Across Rajasthan

Because of the change in weather in the Rajasthan region, there have been light clouds in many places that have affected the temperatures. The clouds have raised the minimum temperatures, which have given some relief from the severe cold in the morning and evening. On Sunday, over 10 cities recorded a minimum temperature above 10 degrees.

However, the maximum temperatures reduced by 2 to 4 degrees. The Meteorological Department has forecast the arrival of Maawat in the state this week, for which a yellow alert has been sounded for thunderstorm and rain in six districts on January 22nd. During the last 24 hours, the sky was clear in Bikaner, Jodhpur, Udaipur, and Kota divisions, while there were light clouds in Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Ajmer divisions. Due to the clouds, night temperatures increased in most districts of these divisions.

On Sunday, minimum temperatures remained above 10 degrees Celsius in Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Kota, Udaipur, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Phalodi, Bikaner, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, and Jhunjhunu. The lowest minimum temperature of 6.1 degrees Celsius was recorded in Karauli. Fog was also observed in Alwar, Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, and Jhunjhunu in the morning.

Maximum daytime temperatures also dropped in the state. The maximum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius in Barmer, 24.3 degrees Celsius in Jaisalmer, 27.2 degrees Celsius in Jodhpur, 25.2 degrees Celsius in Udaipur, 25.5 degrees Celsius in Kota, 26 degrees Celsius in Jaipur, 25.7 degrees Celsius in Ajmer, 21.6 degrees Celsius in Alwar, 25.4 degrees Celsius in Baran, 25.5 degrees Celsius in Dungarpur, 25.4 degrees Celsius in Pali, 26.4 degrees Celsius in Jhunjhunu, 26.8 degrees Celsius in Fatehpur, 24 degrees Celsius in Bikaner, 25.4 degrees Celsius in Churu and 22.1 degrees Celsius in Sriganganagar. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 30.2 degrees Celsius in Jawai (Pali).
