Jaipur, Rajasthan: Indian Wushu and Kickboxing national team athlete Rohit Jangid paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma, at Raj Bhawan, Jaipur. About Rohit Jangid

Rohit Jangid was born on 5 August 1993 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, into a middle-class family. His father, Rajesh Jangid, is a furniture maker/dealer, and his mother, Sunita Jangid, is a homemaker. Rohit has a younger brother, Rahul Jangid, and a sister. Notably, Rahul is also a national medalist in Wushu, making the Jangid family a leading martial arts family in Rajasthan.

Rohit began training in martial arts at the age of 16 under his first coach, Rajesh Taylor, laying the foundation for his international career. Today, he is recognized as one of India’s top Wushu and Kickboxing athletes, known for his discipline, fitness, and vegetarian lifestyle.
