Ray-Ban Meta Glasses have gone on sale in India via major e-commerce platforms. Designed in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica, the smart glasses launched in India in May this year and are only purchasable on Ray-Ban.com and at major optical and sunglasses stores across the country. Among others, Ray-Ban Meta Glasses come with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, open-ear speakers, and microphones that enable users to take photos and videos, listen to music, and speak while on the move.

In India, the price of Ray-Ban Meta Glasses is ₹29,900 for the Shiny Black colour variant in Skyler and Wayfarer designs. However, it will be effectively sold at ₹23,920 after including a 20 per cent discount along with bank offers. Customers can choose from a variety of frame styles and prescription, sun, polarized, and transition lens options.

Customers can purchase Ray-Ban Meta Glasses through Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliance Digital, as part of the company's strategy to reach a wider audience in India.

Ray-Ban Meta Glasses feature a 12-megapixel camera and an LED light, housed within circular cutouts on either side of the frame. This LED light serves as a recording indicator during video recording. According to the company, the smart glasses can capture photos up to 3,024 x 4,032 pixels and record 1080p videos for up to 60 seconds.

Meta says that videos recorded with the device can be shared on Meta apps like Facebook and Instagram. Users can also share them on other platforms through the Meta View app.

According to the company, Ray-Ban Meta Glasses feature its proprietary Meta AI assistant. Users can trigger various hands-free actions by saying "Hey Meta AI." The smart glasses also offer real-time speech translation between English and Spanish, French, or Italian with a simple "Hey Meta, start live translation." Translated audio plays through open-ear speakers, and a transcription can also be viewed.

Ray-Ban Meta Glasses are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 Platform processor and feature 32GB of onboard storage. The smart glasses last up to four hours on a single charge, with a total of 32 hours of playback with the charging case. They are also IPX4 splash resistant.
