Shikha Malhotra, an actress known for her small role in Shah Rukh Khan's film 'Fan,' proved to be one of these messiahs. In response to the pandemic, she chose to utilize her nursing background and be on the frontline to support people.
Shikha Malhotra, who had previously studied nursing before pursuing acting, played a lead role in the Bollywood film 'Kanchali' alongside Sanjay Mishra in 2020. However, when the pandemic struck, she willingly stepped away from the limelight to become a nurse at the BMC Hospital, putting her own life at risk to help others.
Unfortunately, fate had something challenging in store for her. Shikha contracted COVID-19 while serving as a nurse and was gradually recovering when she suffered a brain stroke. This unfortunate event left her a victim of paralysis. Despite these daunting obstacles, Shikha remained resilient in her fight against the adversities thrown her way.
Undeterred, Shikha Malhotra showcased incredible determination and willpower. She refused to succumb to her circumstances and embarked on a remarkable journey of recovery.
