The reduction in the intensity of icy winds in Rajasthan has resulted in rising temperatures. This has resulted in some relief for people due to the reduction in extreme cold temperatures during mornings and evenings. Both daytime and night temperatures are rising. As per the Meteorological Department, a fresh and intense western disturbance is likely to become active in Rajasthan from January 22nd. Because of this, there are chances of Mawth (rain) in more than half of Rajasthan.

Over the last 24 hours, certain parts of Bikaner, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Sikar, Churu, and Jhunjhunu were cloudy at high levels, reducing the intensity of the sun's radiation in these areas. At the same time, the other districts of the state saw clear skies and sunshine. There was also light fog in Sikar on Saturday morning.

On Saturday, the maximum temperature was recorded around 26 degrees Celsius in several cities, including Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Churu, and Bikaner. Chittorgarh recorded the highest maximum temperature of 29.8 degrees Celsius in the state.

Due to the influence of a western disturbance, the minimum temperature increased by about 5 degrees Celsius. Sirohi recorded a minimum temperature of 10.5 degrees Celsius on Saturday. Except for Dausa and Karauli, the minimum temperature in most districts of the state ranged between 5 and 12 degrees Celsius.
