Western Disturbance to Raise Temperatures in Rajasthan From Saturday
Rajasthan Weather News: Temperatures in Rajasthan will rise due to the activation of a western disturbance starting Saturday. The minimum temperature will rise by 2-3 degrees. Another strong western disturbance is expected to become active between January 22nd and 24th, which may cause light rain or drizzle in some parts of the state.
According to the Meteorological Center in Jaipur, temperatures are expected to rise due to the activation of a western disturbance in the state starting Saturday. Light clouds may appear in the northwestern districts, which is expected to increase the minimum temperature by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. Drizzle may also occur in some areas on January 22nd and 23rd. On Friday, minimum temperatures were recorded below 5 degrees Celsius in 10 cities across the state. Frost in rural areas of Hanumangarh and Alwar caused dew drops to freeze and turn into ice.
The areas of Karauli, Alwar, Sikar, and Fatehpur experienced severe cold on Friday morning. Alwar and Fatehpur were the coldest areas in the past 24 hours, with minimum temperatures around 3 degrees Celsius. The cold wave continued to affect Bikaner, Churu, Sikar, Alwar, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Sriganganagar, and Nagaur.
Alwar experienced a light fog in the morning, and snow was visible in the fields.
Sunshine during the day brought relief to residents. Maximum temperatures in most cities across the state ranged from 21 to 30 degrees Celsius. Jodhpur and Barmer recorded the highest maximum temperatures of 29.6 degrees Celsius. Due to the sunshine and weakening of cold winds, daytime temperatures remained above normal. Sikar remained clear, although a cold wave persisted.

According to the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, a mild western disturbance will become active today, which may bring light clouds at higher altitudes over the Bikaner and Jaipur divisions, and a possible increase in minimum temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees. This will reduce the effect of morning and evening cold. After this, another strong western disturbance is likely to become active between 22nd and 24th January, due to which light rain or drizzle may occur in some parts of the state.
Maximum 28.1 and minimum 7.7 degrees were recorded in Ajmer, 25.4 and 4.6 degrees in Vanasthali (Tonk), 25.8 and 3 degrees in Alwar, 25.4 and 9.5 degrees in Jaipur, 25.8 and 5 degrees in Pilani, 27 and 4.7 degrees in Sikar. Maximum 25.6 and minimum 7.8 degrees were recorded in Kota, 28.6 and 7 degrees in Chittorgarh, 27.7 and 6.9 degrees in Udaipur, 29.6 and 9.5 degrees in Barmer, 27.6 and 10.1 degrees in Jaisalmer. Jodhpur recorded a maximum of 29.6 and a minimum of 8.9 degrees, Bikaner 27.6 and 10.6 degrees, Churu 27.2 and 5.7 degrees, Sriganganagar 21 and 5.2 degrees, Nagaur 28.2 and 3.1 degrees. Jalore recorded 27.7 and 4.8 degrees, Sirohi 21.9 and 5.3 degrees, Fatehpur 27.7 and 3 degrees, Karauli 25.9 and 3.6 degrees, Dausa 26.8 and 4.5 degrees. Pratapgarh recorded a maximum of 27.7 and a minimum of 8.5 degrees, Jhunjhunu 25.9 and 6.8 degrees and Pali 29 and 4.3 degrees Celsius.
