Major Accident Averted at Jaipur Airport as Air India Flight Develops Fuel Leak

All passengers were safely evacuated and flown to Mumbai on another flight approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes later.
A serious accident was avoided at Jaipur International Airport on Saturday evening. A fuel leak was reported on Air India’s Jaipur to Mumbai plane, AI 622. The fuel leak warning was received by the pilot, who aborted takeoff just before the plane was about to hit the runway.
The flight involved an Air India plane that had to leave from the city of Jaipur for Mumbai. The plane initially showed a technical indication as it was approaching the runway for takeoff. The ground crew immediately cancelled the takeoff. The passengers were evacuated and led back to the terminal.
This unexpected event, which took place even before the plane took off, briefly created panic among the airline passengers. Despite the panic, there were no reported casualties. Following the notification of a technical system malfunction, it was found that the leak came from the engine.

During this time, all passengers on board the plane had to wait for approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes. Air India then provided an alternative aircraft for the passengers. At 11:35 pm, all passengers were flown to Mumbai in another aircraft.
Regarding this incident, Air India and the Jaipur Airport technical team have begun investigating the aircraft with the fuel leak and are investigating the cause of the leak.
