The third match of the 5-Test Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy between India and England is expected to be more exciting. England has included another fast bowler, Gus Atkinson, in its team for the third Test. This Test will be played at the historic ground of Lord's from July 10. Atkinson appeared in the last of his 12 Tests for England against Zimbabwe in May. He did not make it to the team for the series against India since he was nursing a hamstring issue in the Zimbabwe Test, because of which he was also forced to miss the ODI against the West Indies.

The rest of the players in the England team announced before the second Test are the same. The host team included Jofra Archer in the team before the Edgbaston match, but he did not get a chance to play. England won the first Test, which is why the team came out unchanged in the second Test. Currently, the 5-Test series between India and England is tied at 1-1. England won the first Test at Leeds by 5 wickets. The fourth Test will be played at Old Trafford from July 23 and the fifth Test at the Oval from July 31.
