In the corridor, she crosses paths with Meera. Fighting her own insecurity, Meera masks it with a forced smile and tells Anu that the company is holding a welcome celebration — a party Arya has supposedly organised for her. Anu accepts the information politely and steps inside with no expectations.

Inside the decorated hall, the staff gathers as Arya begins his speech. His voice is warm, full of admiration for a dedicated employee who has brought remarkable progress to Rajnandini Sarees. Meera beams confidently, certain the appreciation is meant for her. But the next moment shatters her illusion. Arya unveils the banner: “Welcome Back Anu.”
