US is discriminating against India in visa case: 833 days waiting even after appointment in Delhi

It has become extremely difficult for Indians to get US visa appointments. The waiting time for a visitor visa in Delhi is 833 days and in Mumbai is 848 days. Surprisingly, there is a waiting period of only 2 days in China. Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar has raised this issue with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
Jaishankar is on a 10-day US tour. During this, he met US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Visa was discussed during the meeting. Blinken acknowledged that the visa issue was serious. Such cases are increasing in the world. The main reason for the delay is Covid 19. Things will get better in a few months.
America is giving appointments to the people of China in just two days. Even in Islamabad, Pakistan, the waiting time is half that of India. There is an appointment in 450 days. This figure has come out from the website of the US State Department. Indians are facing many problems in getting visitor visas.
Indians will also have to wait for US student visas. The waiting time for a student visa in Mumbai and Delhi is 430 days. Surprisingly, student visa appointments are available for 1 day in Islamabad and 2 days in Beijing.
America gave more than 82,000 student visas this year. This is the highest compared to any year. The special thing is that Indians have got the maximum number of student visas. About 20% of America's international students are Indians.
