The tour of England for Mumbai's Emerging Team is going to commence from June 28. He said, "The aim of this tour is to accelerate the development of the players as well as enhance their technical and tactical skills, build mental toughness, promote cultural exchange and identify future senior talents." The team's technique, temperament and adaptability will be tested on England's swing-friendly weather and difficult pitches.

The head coach of the team on the tour will be former Mumbai cricketer Kiran Pawar. MCA treasurer Armaan Malik will go as the manager, who is part of the six-member support staff. He has been entrusted with the task of ensuring that the team is well prepared on and off the field.
