On the instructions of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, urban service camps will be organized across the state from September 17 to October 17. The goal of these camps is to quickly provide the benefits of government schemes to the public and resolve their problems efficiently. The Urban Development and Autonomous Governance Department has issued a notification that provides for special discounts and concessions at these camps.

According to the notification, a 100 percent interest discount will be offered on outstanding lease amounts from previous years if paid in a lump sum by the year 2025-26. Additionally, up to a 60 percent discount will be available for paying 10 years of lease for freehold properties, and an 8-year lease liberate payment in advance. Relief has also been granted for reclamation fees on residential plots: a 75 percent discount for plots up to 250 square meters, 50 percent for 250 to 500 square meters, and 25 percent for 500 to 1000 square meters.

Full exemption from interest applies to leases of plots with approved layout plans in colonies on agricultural land. Penalties will be waived entirely when granting leases to final buyers on plots purchased with unregistered documents. Moreover, there will be a 25 percent discount on residential premium rates for plots up to 100 square meters, and a 15 percent discount for plots between 100 and 200 square meters.

Authorized officers have been designated to conduct technical assessments for building construction approval, land use changes, layout plans, and more. Significant reductions are also available for building map fees, including a 50 percent discount on approval fees for G+1 buildings up to 500 square meters.

Under Section 69-A of the Nagar Palika Act, freehold lease fees will be discounted by 50 percent for plots up to 200 square meters and by 40 percent for 200 to 500 square meters. Special provisions have been introduced for slot land allotments, transfers, spot inspections, and streamlined application processes. These urban service camps are expected to bring substantial relief to the public for land, building, and lease-related procedures.
