Updated Toyota Fortuner Seen on Test; New Grille, Slimmer Headlights Expected

Toyota has different models of vehicles, including the SUV, which is available as the Toyota Fortuner. According to media reports, this SUV was recently spotted testing, revealing several new features. We're sharing the possible updates and launch dates in this news.

According to media reports, Toyota is preparing to update its SUV, the Toyota Fortuner. The manufacturer is currently testing the SUV.

The model that was spotted during testing was fully covered, but some of the features of the car are still visible. It could have a new grille, slimmer headlights, and DRLs. ADAS could be available with the update.

The Fortuner is driven by a 2.8-liter hybrid engine with a 48V battery. The engine has a capacity of 150 kW of power and 500 Nm of torque. The battery has an additional 8.5 kW of power. The car has a six-speed automatic transmission and 4WD.

The Toyota Fortuner Neo Drive 48V features LED lights, dual-tone upholstery, soft-touch materials, a dual-tone exterior, seven airbags, ABS, VSC, brake assist, WIL concept seats, hill assist control, traction control system, child restraint system, seat belts with pre-tensioners and force limiters, speed auto lock, start/stop function, 360-degree camera, wireless charger, multi-terrain system, Eco, Normal, and Sports modes. The updated version is expected to offer several more features.

The manufacturer has not announced the launch of the updated SUV. However, it is expected to arrive in the Indian market in the next few months.

This Toyota SUV is offered in the D-segment. In this segment, it will compete with Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tayron R Line and the soon to be launched MG Majestor.
