Popular television actress Shivangi Verma, recognized for her compelling roles in shows like Tera Ishq Mera Fitoor and Choti Sarrdaarni, as well as the web series Yeh Hai Sanak, has opened up about her grounded approach to life. In a candid conversation, she emphasized how meticulous planning and organization serve as anchors in an otherwise unpredictable world.

Verma firmly believes that while life often throws curveballs, proactive preparation makes all the difference. "In life, everything is unpredictable; that is true. But I think everything depends on planning," she shared. "I believe in organizing things and making plans. I am not an impulsive person, which is why I do not postpone my goals or my happiness and hobbies."

The actress described her mindset as one that lives fully in the present while keeping an eye on the future and respecting lessons from the past. "I live in the present while thinking about the future, and of course I never forget my past. So I feel everything goes together and side by side, and I think it is a good balance," she explained. This balanced perspective, she feels, allows her to navigate daily challenges without losing sight of long-term aspirations.

A recurring theme in her reflections is the finite nature of time. Verma stressed the importance of spending it on what truly matters—pursuing passions, nurturing happiness, and safeguarding health. "I think we should do what we like and plan things accordingly, live our lives to the fullest, be happy, and take care of our health. That is all we can do, because we cannot run away from the fact that our time is limited," she noted.

Currently unmarried and without children, she chooses to focus on her own growth and joy rather than deferring fulfillment for a hypothetical future family. "Many people, especially our parents and grandparents, always say that we should live for our children. But I am not married yet, and I do not have kids, so right now I am living for myself. You never know what will happen in the future," she said frankly. This self-focused yet responsible outlook reflects a practical realism about life's uncertainties.

Verma expressed deep gratitude for the stability she has built. "I am glad that I made a home for myself, for my parents, and for our future together. Lately, I have started taking care of my health too," she said. She credits her supportive family as a cornerstone of her achievements in the entertainment industry, where she has earned recognition and modest fame. "My career is going well; I am getting success; I have a name and some fame too—not too much, but I am satisfied," she added.

What stands out most in her words is a quiet pride in maintaining integrity. "At least whatever I am doing is clean and honest, and I am very proud of what I am doing. I have peace and happiness as well," Verma stated. This sense of inner contentment appears to fuel her resilience.

To recharge, the actress prioritizes personal time—whether through spa visits, salon appointments, beach relaxation in Goa, or gym workouts. "For that, I go to spas or salons, or to my favorite stress-buster place, Goa. I just lie down on the beach there, or I go to the gym and work out a bit. I think we all should try this because it really works," she recommended. She admitted that health hasn't always been her top priority but now recognizes its urgency amid today's fast-paced world. "I do not always prioritize my health, and this is where I lack. So I think we should do it, especially considering what is happening around us. We should take care of our health," she urged.

On the topic of competition—a constant since childhood—Verma views it positively. "Since the time I was born, there has been competition in my life, and I am ready for it. In fact, it gives me more enthusiasm to work for my dreams," she said. From school and college to friendships and family dynamics, she sees healthy rivalry as a motivator rather than a deterrent. "There is always competition—healthy competition. Sometimes it even becomes bad. But now I have become immune to it, and I believe that is why I am able to deal with it. If there is no competition, everything will become very boring," she observed.

Ultimately, Verma portrays a life of constant motion and purpose. "And I think I have never lived a life where I was doing nothing. Every day, I am busy with something," she concluded. Her insights offer a refreshing reminder that thoughtful planning, self-compassion, and embracing competition can create a fulfilling path—even in the unpredictable world of show business.
