India Stonemart 2026 Set to Boost Rajasthan Stone Sector

Jaipur— Rajasthan’s stone industry is gearing up for a major leap forward as the 13th edition of India Stonemart prepares to open its doors from February 5 to 8, 2026, at the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC) in Sitapura. The four-day international exhibition promises to be the grandest yet, drawing participants from across India and key stone-producing nations worldwide.

Industries and Commerce Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore highlighted the event’s importance during a press conference held on Friday. He described India Stonemart as a vital catalyst for the state’s stone sector, offering local artisans and businesses valuable exposure to cutting-edge technologies from both domestic and international sources. “The organization of India Stonemart will provide a significant boost to Rajasthan’s stone industry,” Rathore stated, emphasizing how the event fosters policy dialogue, technology exchange, and global collaboration.

Jointly organized by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO), the Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS), and Laghu Udyog Bharati, the exhibition has evolved since its inception in 2000 into a respected international platform for stakeholders in the natural stone value chain. This year’s edition stands out for its scale and reach: it will span approximately 25,000 square meters with 539 stalls displaying natural stones, processing machinery, tools, value-added products, and related innovations.

A standout feature is the unprecedented international participation. For the first time, exhibitors from eight countries—China, Turkey, Iran, Thailand, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States—are confirmed, signaling strong global confidence in the event and Rajasthan’s growing stature in the stone trade. International visitors, buyers, architects, developers, and industry professionals from more than 20 countries, including the USA, UK, Australia, UAE, Greece, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Mauritius, Germany, and Russia, are expected to attend.

Stonemart Convener Natwar Ajmera described the upcoming edition as “the largest in its history,” pointing to the diverse lineup and enhanced facilities. CDOS Chairman Deepak Ajmera noted that the event aligns with global standards, incorporating new elements such as a digital exhibition app, multi-language website, international roadshows, student design competitions, and dedicated policy dialogue sessions. These additions aim to promote technology adoption, sustainability, innovation, and design excellence in stone applications.

A special highlight will be the ODOP (One District One Product) pavilion, where select stone products from Rajasthan’s districts will be showcased. As Rathore explained, this initiative is designed to elevate regional specialties on national and international stages, drive exports, and create fresh employment avenues for local communities.

The minister also placed the event within the broader context of Rajasthan’s industrial momentum. He credited clear leadership and investor-friendly policies over the past two years for transforming the state into a preferred investment destination. Under the Rising Rajasthan initiative, work has begun on Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) valued at over ₹8 lakh crore from a total pipeline exceeding ₹35 lakh crore. Rathore pointed to parallel efforts in employment generation: more than one lakh youth appointed in government roles, rapid progress on filling 1.54 lakh additional posts, and growing private-sector opportunities tied to investment realization. Complementing these are initiatives like Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas and the new Chief Minister Youth Self-Employment Scheme, which offers interest-free loans up to ₹10 lakh with a target to support one lakh young entrepreneurs.

Laghu Udyog Bharati National Co–General Secretary Naresh Pareek underscored the exhibition’s value for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). “India Stonemart has become a strong and credible global platform,” he said, noting its role in connecting small businesses directly to international markets, advanced technologies, investors, and policy channels.

RUDA Managing Director Manisha Arora emphasized the event’s potential to influence urban development, infrastructure, and sustainable architecture, particularly through greater use of stone in smart cities. National Secretary Anju Singh and former National Treasurer Yogesh Gautam echoed the sentiment, viewing the fair as a bridge to global competitiveness, self-reliance, and economic growth for Rajasthan’s resource-rich stone sector.

With side events including the Jaipur Architecture Festival, buyer-seller interactions, the Global Stone Technology Forum, and talent-focused competitions, India Stonemart 2026 is positioned as more than a trade show—it is a strategic step toward establishing Rajasthan as a value-added, technology-driven global hub for natural stone. Organizers and state officials alike express optimism that the event will translate immense local potential in resources, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurship into tangible gains in investment, exports, and jobs, reinforcing the state’s industrial identity on the world stage.
