Rajasthan Weather: Cold Wave Subsides in Shekhawati, No Major Change Expected for a Week
As the northern winds weaken in Rajasthan, the winter in Shekhawati is beginning to subside. Morning and night temperatures are gradually increasing, and dry weather is expected for the next week.
With the decrease of northern winds in Rajasthan, the winter season in Shekhawati is now slowly ending. Morning and night temperatures are also rising gradually. According to the Meteorological Department, similar weather is expected to persist in Shekhawati for a week, gradually relieving the people.
In this case, the minimum temperature in Shekhawati was recorded at minus 3 degrees Celsius. According to weather experts, cold weather in Shekhawati usually results from cold winds blowing from the mountainous regions. However, this time, even the mountainous regions experienced snowfall at the end of the season, and hence cold weather was not experienced for long in Shekhawati.
For this reason, people have begun experiencing relief from the cold in the second week of February. While the minimum temperature in Shekhawati remains below 10 degrees Celsius, the sunshine is now being felt more intensely, with afternoon temperatures exceeding 25 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department says that if no new Western Disturbance activates in the state's weather or there is no snowfall in the hilly areas, the effects of heat will gradually increase in Shekhawati. While the cold may persist during the morning and night hours for the remaining two weeks of February, people will begin to experience clear relief from the cold from the first week of March.
According to Radheshyam Sharma, Director of the Jaipur Meteorological Center, there will be no major changes in the weather in Rajasthan and Shekhawati for the next week. The weather will remain dry, and temperatures will fluctuate slightly during this period.
