Rajasthan Weather: Rising temperatures in Rajasthan are weakening the effects of winter. Several cities have reached 30 degrees Celsius, with Barmer being the hottest. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain clear for the next week, with the heat increasing further.

As the temperature is rising in Rajasthan, the impact of winter is decreasing. As reported by the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, the weather will be clear for the next week with an increase in temperature, resulting in a mild heatwave during the day.

On Friday, six cities in the state recorded maximum temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius or above. Minimum temperatures ranged from 11 to 17 degrees Celsius. Clear skies prevailed with bright sunshine in most areas.

In the last 24 hours, bright sunshine in the Barmer and Jalore areas of western Rajasthan resulted in an increase of maximum temperature by nearly 2 degrees Celsius. The highest maximum temperature of 33.4 degrees Celsius has been recorded in the Barmer region. Jodhpur recorded 31 degrees Celsius, Phalodi 31.4 degrees Celsius, Jaisalmer 30.3 degrees Celsius, Pali 30.1 degrees Celsius, and Jalore 31.2 degrees Celsius. The mercury remained slightly above normal in these cities. Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Kota, and Udaipur divisions also experienced bright sunshine during the day. Jaipur recorded a maximum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius.

Minimum temperatures in all cities of the state ranged from 11 to 18 degrees Celsius. Barmer recorded a minimum temperature of 17.3 degrees Celsius. Bikaner recorded 17.2 degrees Celsius, Phalodi 17 degrees Celsius, Jalore 15.3 degrees Celsius, Sirohi 15.4 degrees Celsius, Jodhpur 16.5 degrees Celsius, Jaisalmer 15.6 degrees Celsius, Udaipur 16 degrees Celsius, Chittorgarh 15.4 degrees Celsius, and Bhilwara 15.3 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, further increases in temperature in the coming days will reduce the chill in the mornings and evenings.

On February 20, temperatures increased in major cities across the state. Ajmer recorded a maximum of 27.3 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 14.7 degrees Celsius, while Bhilwara recorded 26.2 degrees Celsius and 15.3 degrees Celsius. Alwar recorded 27.5 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius, Jaipur 28 degrees Celsius and 14.8 degrees Celsius, Pilani 24.8 degrees Celsius and 12.8 degrees Celsius, and Sikar 26.5 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius. Kota recorded a maximum of 27 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 14.6 degrees Celsius, Chittorgarh 28.4 degrees Celsius and 15.4 degrees Celsius, and Udaipur 26.9 degrees Celsius and 16 degrees Celsius. Barmer was the hottest, with a maximum of 33.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 17.3 degrees Celsius. Jaisalmer recorded 30.3 and 15.6 degrees Celsius, Jodhpur 31 and 16.5 degrees Celsius, Bikaner 29.2 and 17.2 degrees Celsius.

Churu recorded 28.4 and 13.8 degrees Celsius, Ganganagar 27.8 and 13.9 degrees Celsius, Baran 26.8 and 13.8 degrees Celsius, Jalore 31.2 and 15.3 degrees Celsius, Sirohi 25.2 and 15.4 degrees Celsius. Fatehpur recorded 29 and 11.4 degrees Celsius, Karauli 28 and 10.5 degrees Celsius, Dausa 29.6 and 11 degrees Celsius, Pratapgarh 24.6 and 16.2 degrees Celsius, Jhunjhunu 27.3 and 13.7 degrees Celsius and Pali 30.1 and 14.7 degrees Celsius.
