Rajasthan Weather Update: With the departure of winter, the heat has begun to intensify in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures may rise further in the next two days. Light rain in some areas in the last 24 hours has brought a partial change in the weather.

The heat wave in Rajasthan is growing more intense, with daytime temperatures climbing. The Meteorological Center in Jaipur predicts a 2 to 3 °C rise in the next 48 hours, with some cities expected to reach 37 °C by Holi.

On Monday, Barmer experienced a high of 35 °C, and over 20 cities recorded temperatures of 30 °C or higher. Night temperatures have also increased in Jaipur, Bikaner, and Barmer, with minimums above 16°C. Some areas Saw

partial weather changes in the last 24 hours, including light rain and drizzle in Jaipur and Tonk. Alwar, Sikar, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, and Jhalawar were partly cloudy. Most districts in western and northern Rajasthan enjoyed clear skies and sunshine.

Monday's maximum temperatures included Jaipur at 29.7 °C, Kota at 30.9 °C, Ajmer at 30.6 °C, Pilani and Nagaur at 30.7 °C, Baran at 30.3 °C, and Niwai at 30.6°C. Data from February 23 shows Barmer, with 35 °C, as the hottest in the state, followed by Jaisalmer at 33.2 °C, Chittorgarh at 33.2 °C, Bikaner at 33 °C, and Jodhpur at 32.9°C. Udaipur recorded 31.6 °C, Bhilwara 31.5 °C, Churu 31.6 °C, Ganganagar 31.9 °C, and Fatehpur and Pali each

at 31°C. In terms of minimum temperatures, Jaipur saw relatively warm nights at 19.2°C. Barmer experienced 17.8 °C, Bikaner 17.4 °C, Jaisalmer 16.8 °C, Kota 16.2 °C, Sikar 16 °C, Ajmer 16.4 °C, and Chittorgarh 15.6°C. Other cities had lows between 10 and 15°C. The Meteorological Department predicts further temperature increases, likely intensifying the heatwave across Rajasthan.
