Koreans will get compensation for 75-year-old war crimes

The South Korean government will pay reparations to its people for war crimes committed by Japan in World War II. South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin announced this on Monday. In fact, Japan enslaved many people in South Korea during World War II. The women there was mass raped.
The people there have been demanding compensation from Japan for years regarding this matter. He also wants Japan to officially apologize for its war crimes. There was a dispute between the two countries regarding this issue for many years. Because of this, there was bitterness in the relations between the two countries even after being together in the fight against China in Asia.
Earlier there was speculation that Japan would pay reparations for its crimes committed during World War II. But on Monday, the Foreign Minister of South Korea has given an accurate answer to this.
He has made it clear that this compensation will be given to the victims and their families by taking donations with the help of different companies and NGOs. The Foreign Minister said that it is time for South Korea and Japan to forget their old differences and start afresh.
It is very important for America to bring these two countries together to reduce China's influence in Asia. According to the AP report, for this, it will be necessary that the relations between the two countries can be improved first. America praised South Korea's compensation plan on Monday and described it as historic.
However, the people of South Korea are not happy with the compensation plan. Lim Jae Sang, a lawyer for victims of war crimes, has said that with this plan, the Korean government has given victory to Japan. Japan has been saying - we will not pay even a penny for our crimes. He has succeeded in his purpose.
