Cyber Alert: Big danger is looming over these users, government-issued safety alert

Indian users remain afraid of cyber attacks. In such a situation, the government keeps alerting people from time to time. Recently, the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team i.e. CERT-In has issued an advisory regarding three flaws in the famous networking company Cisco product. According to CERT-In, hackers are taking access to the data of Cisco company's computer systems.

CERT-In has said that Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance i.e. ASA software and Firepower Thread Defense i.e. FTD software can attack the operating system at the root level with wrong commands. This may cause the device to reload, resulting in a denial of service. CERT-In in its recent advisory has said that these flaws can occur while backing up the file at the time of restoration. The report states that hackers can add these flaws to any affected device as a backup file. According to the agency, hackers can disrupt the service of targeted people by sending HTTP headers.

In addition, the device will be reloaded if the user's device is in a DOS condition. Hackers may use HTTP headers to target users' web servers in such circumstances. The existence of an incorrect verification process when reading a file from the system's flash memory is the third flaw in this code. The agency has issued an advisory in this regard, advising users to download the Cisco update as soon as feasible.
