Congress Launches Statewide Movement in Rajasthan Against New MNREGA Law
Rajasthan News: Congress has launched a major movement in Rajasthan against the new MNREGA law. The party has launched protests across the state, calling it an attack on the rights of poor and rural laborers.
Following the "Save Aravali" campaign, Congress has organized a major movement in Rajasthan to oppose the new MNREGA law. While protests and demonstrations against MNREGA have already started in the state, the party has also initiated a 45-day nationwide campaign on this issue.
To ensure an organized and effective movement in Rajasthan, Congress has set up a coordination committee led by senior leader CP Joshi as the convener. The committee includes Murari Meena, Ummedaram Beniwal, Ashok Chandna, Rohit Bohra, Ganesh Ghoghra, Hakeem Ali Khan, Babulal Nagar, Dungaram Gedar, and Vaibhav Gehlot. According to party leaders, this group will plan and coordinate efforts across the state.
The Congress has made it clear that their movement will continue until the new MNREGA law is repealed. In this spirit, senior leaders observed a fast for several hours at the Martyrs' Memorial in Jaipur on Sunday to peacefully protest.
