In an effort to improve the lives of tribal people, the Central Government is actively looking into forming alliances with international foundations and UN bodies. The World Health Organisation (WHO), the World Bank, the United Nations Development Programme, and the United Nations Environment Programme were among the UN agencies with which a senior official of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs met on Tuesday.

Vibhu Nair, Secretary of the Ministry, said, "These partnerships are important to achieve development goals in India. The meeting discussed areas where the intervention of UN agencies is needed and where international organizations are involved in the development work of tribals." Can cooperate."
