The demand for electric vehicles in the Indian market is increasing rapidly day by day. If you are planning to buy Tata's upcoming Nexon EV for yourself in the coming days, then let us tell you that the vehicle manufacturer will officially start taking bookings for this car from September 9. Along with this, it will be launched on 14th September. Tata contributes almost half of the EV sales in India. The company is going to bring this car with many changes.

Let us tell you, the design between the electric avatar of the SUV and its ICE variant has a body-color grille and Nexon EV badging.

As a new design, this car gets a new LED taillight unit with a new headlight and DRL bar. The taillights will get the same pattern as the Nexon facelift SUV. The LED bar in this car extends across the entire width of the EV.

Along the lines of the new Nexon SUV, the cabin of the new Nexon EV will also be updated significantly. As changes, it gets a 10.25-inch free-standing touchscreen unit, a new digital driver display, and touch-based controls for HVAC. Along with this, a spoke flat steering wheel and a backlit panel can also be found.

Talking about the battery, there will be no change in its range or size. In this, it is expected that the automaker will retain the battery pack with two options. In this, a 30.2kWh unit can get a range of 312 kilometers on a single charge. While the bigger battery pack, a 40.5kWh unit can get a range of up to 453 km without having to plug in for a recharge.
