Western Disturbance Brings Relief From Cold in Rajasthan, Temperatures Rise Across Cities
Rajasthan Weather Today: Due to the western disturbance in North India, temperatures have increased in several cities in Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department says that between December 18th and 20th, the impact of the new western disturbance will cause a sharp change in temperatures in the state.

The effect of the active Western Disturbance in North India extended to the state of Rajasthan. This led to a weakening of the cold winds from the north, giving a respite from the cold weather. There were light clouds in Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Sriganganagar, Churu, and Hanumangarh, which caused a reduction in the strength of the sunlight. Owing to the change in weather, the minimum temperatures are reported to have increased in various cities such as Sriganganagar, Jaisalmer, Sikar, Jaipur, Alwar, Ajmer, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, and Pali.
The increase in temperatures has slightly lowered the morning and evening chill. But Mount Abu has been the coldest spot in the state, with a minimum temperature of 3 degrees Celsius. Cloudy conditions, along with a lack of cold winds, have led to fluctuations in temperatures during the daytime. Bikaner recorded a maximum temperature of 3.8 degrees Celsius, reaching 31 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, another western disturbance is expected to become active from December 18th, which is expected to alter the weather patterns in the state.
Variations in maximum and minimum temperatures were observed in major cities across the state. Ajmer recorded a maximum of 29.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 9.9 degrees Celsius. Bhilwara recorded 29.1 degrees Celsius and 8.6 degrees Celsius, Alwar 26.8 degrees Celsius and 8.8 degrees Celsius, Jaipur 28.4 degrees Celsius and 11.6 degrees Celsius, while Pilani recorded 29 degrees Celsius and 7.5 degrees Celsius.
