Ukraine will get dangerous tank 'Leopard': Poland will deliver after Germany's approval

On Friday, January 20, 50 countries met at the US Ramstein airbase in Germany. The purpose of this meeting was to give Ukraine a dangerous tank to help fight Russia. This meeting remained inconclusive for two days.
Germany is reluctant to give its tanks to Ukraine. However, on Sunday, Germany approved to giving of its Leopard 2 tank to Ukraine through Poland. The German-made Leopard 2 tank is considered one of the world's most dangerous tanks. It has also been used in Afghanistan and Syria wars.
German Foreign Minister Annalena Bayerbock made a statement during a meeting in Paris. This is being seen as approval to give tanks to Ukraine. In the meeting, he said that we know how important these tanks are. That's why we have to have so many conversations with our partners about its delivery. We want lives to be saved and Ukraine to be able to free itself from Russian occupation.
Although Germany itself will not give these tanks to Ukraine, rather it has approved Poland that it can give its German-made Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. Actually, giving such dangerous weapons directly to Ukraine would increase the enmity with Russia. Germany is not ready for this at all. Russia has also warned against giving dangerous weapons to Ukraine. The speaker of the Russian Parliament said that by giving arms to Ukraine, Western countries are inviting their own destruction.
To counter Russia, Ukraine completely depends on weapons from Western countries, which it is also getting. However, all Western countries, including the US, have failed to deliver select weapons to Ukraine. Whom Ukraine is continuously demanding. America is also pressurizing Germany to give Leopard tanks to Ukraine. Meanwhile, Germany had demanded that America should also give its tank Abram to Ukraine.
The Leopard tank was first produced in the 1970s to replace the American-made M48 Patton. However, in no time this tank became famous in the world including Europe. Leopard tank is called an all-rounder due to its many features.
The moving speed of the tank is 70 kilometres per hour, while its firing range is said to be 50 kilometres per hour. One of the great features of Leopard is that it gives all-around protection to the driver of the tank. It avoids the danger of mines. In addition, it also has an anti-tank fire system.
According to the UK's International Institute for Strategic Studies, if Ukraine gets even 100 Leopard tanks, it will have a huge impact on the war. This will help the soldiers to move faster against the enemy on the battlefield.
This 62-tonne tank is fitted with an anti-aircraft machine gun. There is a coaxial machine gun which attacks in the direction of the tank. Apart from this, there is also a smoothbore gun. Due to all these features, the Leopard tank can easily face the tanks of the Soviet IRA of Russia. Due to this, Ukraine can get a significant edge in the war.
