Study on children's linguistic development: Read a few pages of a book to a 2-week-old baby every day

From two weeks after birth, reading a few pages of a book to the child every day for 9 months accelerates language development. They start understanding words quickly. Such children learn to speak in 9 months only.
This has been revealed in a recent study by Joan C, a researcher at the Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University. Research shows that reading aloud a few pages of a book every day can help babies 12 months and younger develop speech comprehension.
Some of the parents involved in this research, published in the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine, were given a set of 20 books. It featured books on language development and illustrations. All parents gave consent to have their children's receptivity and language tested during wellness checkups every two weeks.
Most parents set a goal of reading one book a day. Whose shocking results came out within a year. The receptivity of such children was higher than that of children who were not read any book aloud. The researchers were excited about the results of this research.
