'We can't have Bangladesh-like situation in our country', says Nepali PM
Prime Minister of Nepal - KP Oli

Oli said there is no place for extremism, which has been rampant for decades, in the country. The government will not allow such activities in the country. KP Oli had arrived in Kathmandu to launch a book titled 'Into the Fire'. The book was written by Simlik Airlines Chairman Captain Rameshwar Thapa.

Former Nepali Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda had said last month that there was a need to learn from Bangladesh. He had urged the KP Oli coalition government to learn lessons from the political unrest and unrest in Bangladesh.

In response to Prachanda's remarks, Oli said on Saturday, "To those who advise us to learn from others, I would like to say that they should also learn from others." The civilisation and culture here is different. Hence, incidents like those in Bangladesh cannot be repeated in Nepal.
