WhatsApp is working on a new feature for its users. In this, users will be allowed to share image and video files in HD quality without any. While at present the HD option has to be selected. Reportedly, this feature is being tested. In the coming time, it can be rolled out for stable users.

Meta-owned platform WhatsApp is working on a new feature for users. Reportedly, the feature is currently being tested.
In this feature, users will get the facility to share photos and videos in HD quality without any settings. The messaging app is reportedly testing an HD-quality default setting.
In this, instead of sharing high-resolution images and videos, there will be no need to enable any setting. Rather, this work will be done by just sending it. Before sending a photo or video, users will not need to check whether the image they are sending is in HD quality or not. Because the image will be sent in HD quality by default.
This feature has not been described in detail. However, this feature is already available to many beta users. This feature was observed in the WhatsApp app's new default option in beta version 2.24.13.10 for Android.
It signifies that the feature is now undergoing final testing. It can be made available to stable users following final testing.
Users of WhatsApp may also be disappointed by this setting. Because sharing files in HD resolution protects the quality of photographs and videos. However, after the feature is enabled, if the image is sent directly, it will take up additional WhatsApp storage. As a result, there may be some storage issues.
The maximum file size for videos on the platform is 64MB, which can be a hindrance if you are trying to send long clips.
