Gehlot honoured the freedom fighters by reaching home

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot honoured the freedom fighters by reaching home. On the evening of August 14, just before Independence Day, Gehlot reached the house of freedom fighters who played an important role in the country's independence. He was honoured by garlanding him with a cotton garland, wearing a shawl and presenting him with a quince. Gehlot first reached the house of freedom fighter Ramu Saini in Dadudayal Nagar of Mansarovar. Along with Saini, lit a lamp in front of the portrait of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, and hoisted the flag.
After this, CM Gehlot reached the house of freedom fighter Umrao Singh in Ganesh Nagar on Niwaru Road and met him. The national flag was hoisted in his honour. Similarly, he was honoured in the C-Scheme at the residence of freedom fighter Subhadra Kumar Patni. Along with this, the national flag was hoisted at his residence. Gehlot also met the family members of the freedom fighters and inquired about their well-being. During this, the local people raised patriotic slogans by hoisting the tricolour.
Gehlot said- The contribution of these freedom fighters in the freedom struggle of India can never be forgotten. He participated in the freedom struggle in his youth and fought for freedom. Paying homage to the freedom fighters who were martyred in the freedom movement, he said that it is because of them that we are breathing the air of freedom today. It is our duty to honour the freedom fighters who played a role in the freedom struggle by reaching their homes. Gehlot extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on Independence Day. State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara, District Collector Prakash Rajpurohit and many leaders, officials and common people were present on this occasion.
