5 Agriculture Universities get VC, Governor issued orders

Vice-Chancellors have been appointed in 8 universities of the state. Governor Kalraj Mishra on Thursday issued orders for the appointments of Vice Chancellors in consultation with the state government on the recommendation of search committees. VC has been appointed to 5 Agriculture University. Among them, Dr. Abhay Kumar Vyas has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Agricultural University, Kota. Pro. Bagda Ram Choudhary Agricultural University, Jodhpur, Dr. Arun Kumar to Swami Kesavanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner, Dr. Ajit Kumar to Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Dr. Balraj Singh as Vice Chancellor of Shri Karan Narendra Agricultural University, Jobner has been appointed.
Governor Prof. Ramsevak Dubey has been made the Vice-Chancellor of Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University, Jaipur. Pro. Pradeep Kumar Prajapati to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur, Prof. Kailash Sodhani has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota.
Governor and Chancellor Kalraj Mishra have made this appointment of all these Vice Chancellors for 3 years. A vice-chancellor can hold this post only till the maximum age of 70 years.
