Dr. Deepak Vashishtha of Sirohi honored for Hindi version of Vedas, honored by Sarsanghchalak
Jaipur News: Assistant Professor of Vastushastra Department of Lal Bahadur Shastri Sanskrit University, New Delhi, Dr. Deepak Vashishtha was honored by Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat at the Ambedkar International Center in Delhi for the work of Hindi version in the third edition of Hindi commentary of Vedas written by Padma Vibhushit Pad Damodar Satvalekar.
Amidst the work completing, Hindi version of Vedas, Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat honored Dr. Deepak Vashishtha of Rajasthan at Ambedkar International Center in Delhi. Bhagwat presented a shawl by honoring Dr. Vashishtha and also presented a citation. Dr. Vashishtha belongs from Sirohi district of Rajasthan. RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, during the program said, "Vedas are the treasurer of physical and spiritual knowledge, the origin of the entire universe. They work to connect the whole world.
He said, "Vedas and India are one and the same. They form the very basis of Sanatan Dharma. Knowledge, science, mathematics, religion, medicine and music have been explained in abundance in the Vedas. The principles of arithmetic, cube and cube root too have been clearly mentioned in the mantras of Vedas. The essence of well-being of the whole world is enshrined in Vedas.
In the inaugural function of the program, it was said that it is Continuous Labor for 10 Years in Publishing these four Vedas with commentaries by Shripad Damodar Satvalekar by Swadhyay Mandal Pardi, Gujarat along with the Veda Study Center of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, Delhi. The scholars and their associates who worked in this holy service were also felicitated on this occasion.
