Vande Bharat's sleeper version trains will soon start running on the tracks. The first train will leave the factory within two months. The manufacturing process is in the final stage. Initially, there is a plan to bring two sets of trains. First, they will be trialed. After that regular operation will be done.

While speaking with journalists on Saturday, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav made this statement. The railways want to operate approximately 250 Vande Bharat sleeper trains during the next five years.

The route has not yet been selected, however it is expected to begin at Delhi-Mumbai or Delhi-Kolkata. The Ministry of Railways is working on many versions of Vande Bharat as part of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. The sleeper version trains will feature 16 bogies each. There will be 11 AC three-bogies, four AC second-bogies, and one AC first-bogie.

887 people will be able to travel sleeping in each train at a time. The railways are trying to make this train more updated and convenient than the Vande Bharat Express and Rajdhani trains that travel by sitting. The speed capacity of the Vande Bharat Sleeper will be 220 to 240 km per hour, but the operating speed will be 165 km only. Seats with classic wooden designs are being made, which will be so comfortable that passengers will feel like in a luxury hotel.

In view of the night festivals and summer crowd, this time the railways ran 19 thousand 837 special trains. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that in view of the summer crowd, these special trains were run during April, May, and June. More than four crore people traveled in these special trains during three months. This number is in addition to the people who travel daily by train.
