Honor X9c equipped with 108MP primary camera and 6600mAh battery will be launched in India soon

Honor has confirmed that they'll be launching the Honor X9c in India soon. The smartphone will be available for sale exclusively through Amazon. It was unveiled in select global markets in November 2024. The Indian variant will have a 108-megapixel primary rear camera like the global counterpart. This has been confirmed by the released teaser. Other major features of the Honor X9c have also been confirmed ahead of the launch. It will be the successor to the Honor X9b, which was launched in India in February 2024.

The Honor X9c is set to go up for sale shortly in India, the company confirmed via an X post. However, it didn't reveal the date of the launch. The phone will be up for sale strictly within the country through Amazon. The company confirmed the above fact through a press statement.

Honor X9c's live microsite on Amazon states the phone gets SGS drop resistance testing certification. The IP65M rating amounts to dust and 360-degree water resistance, the same as the global one. The phone, based on Honor's power management system, offers stable performance for extreme conditions of temperature. The thickness and the weight of the handset are given as 7.98mm and 189 grams, respectively.

The Honor X9c is confirmed to have a 6600mAh battery that will support 66W wired SuperCharge. For photography, the smartphone will have a 108-megapixel main rear sensor with f/1.7 aperture and 3x lossless zoom. The camera setup will offer optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS). The phone will also get AI-backed editing features like AI erase and motion sensing.

Honor has said that the upcoming Indian version of the X9c will come with Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0. It will be equipped with a dual stereo speaker system, which claims to deliver 300 percent louder sound. The smartphone will have a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, brightness level up to 4000 nits, and 3840Hz PWM dimming rate support.

In Malaysia, the Honor X9c is priced at MYR 1,499 (roughly Rs. 28,700) and MYR 1,699 (roughly Rs. 32,500) for the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants, respectively. The global variant is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and offers a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
