Anant Ambani gets big responsibility, can get salary up to 20 crores annually; these special facilities too

India's largest company, Reliance Industries Limited, has appointed Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Chairman Mukesh Ambani, as Executive Director of the firm. In this new position, he will from now on draw an annual salary from Rs 10 to 20 crores, many types of allowances, and commission on earnings from the firm. Through a notification sent to shareholders, Reliance has declared that Anant will get many benefits, including reimbursement for expenses such as home, travel, medical, security, and family. Apart from this, business tour travels and stays with his wife's and assistants accompanying him will also be taken care of by the company.

In 2023, Mukesh Ambani included all three children, Akash, Isha, and Anant, as non-executive directors on the board of the company. Then he did not get any salary, only a fee of Rs 4 lakh for attending the meeting, and a commission of about Rs 97 lakh on profits was given. However, now, after becoming the executive director, 30-year-old Anant will get a full salary. Regarding this, Reliance has said that it has been given the responsibility of projects like oil-to-chemical, new energy, vinyl, specialty polyester, and gigafactories.

If seen, Anant has been associated with Reliance Group since 2015. He has graduated from Brown University and is playing an important role in the company's energy business, especially solar and renewable projects. He is also associated with Reliance Foundation and the wildlife conservation project Vantara.
