A case of alleged molestation of a female passenger on the Delhi-Chennai Indigo flight has been reported. The woman filed a complaint, and this passenger was arrested. The airlines have not yet issued a statement on this matter. It is claimed that the accused is a marble and tile installer by trade.

This incident occurred on October 9th, when the woman claimed that a passenger named Rajesh Sharma was on a flight. He sat next to the woman on the flight.  He allegedly tried to touch the woman during this time. According to the woman's complaint, he continued to do this in spite of her objections. The pilot then made a complaint about that passenger. As soon as the plane landed, he was arrested.

Cases of molestation on a flight are nothing new. Sometimes, urinating in a flight and sometimes the news of molestations remains in the headlines. One such incident of molestations also took place at Varanasi airport. Here, the passenger was deboarded from the flight for molesting an air hostess. Later, he was handed over to the police. This incident took place on 30th August on a flight from Varanasi to Hyderabad.
