Booking of KTM 390 Adventure X banned, new model will have great electronic features
KTM has stopped the booking of its popular adventure bike, 390 Adventure X, in India. The company says that they are going to bring its updated model, which will have new electronic features. The updated model will get cornering ABS traction control, cruise control, and different riding modes. The engine will be 399cc as before. The price may increase by Rs 10000 to 15000.
Booking of KTM's popular adventure bike, 390 Adventure X, has been banned in the Indian market. This bike was made for those riders who want to enjoy adventure biking. The reason behind banning the booking of this bike is told by the company to bringing its updated model.
The 390 Adventure X was launched by KTM in 2023. It is actually a budget offering of the standard 390 Adventure. The Adventure X is much better ridden than the standard 390 Adventure, while the standard 390 Adventure is about off-roading.
The ex-showroom price of the KTM 390 Adventure X is Rs 2.91 lakh today, while the ex-showroom price of the top-spec 390 Adventure costs Rs 3.68 lakh. The most distinguishing factor between the two is the electronic features. It will be enhanced now. It will get the same electronic features that the top-spec model offers.
Up until now, the KTM 390 Adventure X had off-road mode and off-road ABS as standard features, but the updated bike is going to get many new features. It will be equipped with cornering ABS to make the bike even stable, traction control so the wheels of the bike do not slip, cruise control for longer tours, and many modes like Rain, Street, and Off-road. All these features together will improve the tourability of the bike, and the rider will be at ease.

It will use the same 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which will generate 45 PS of power and 39 Nm of torque. Its engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Like before, it will get a steel trellis frame, 43mm WP Apex USD fork (non-adjustable) at the front, and preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Also, for braking, a 320mm disc brake will be given at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear.
With these new features, the price of the updated KTM 390 Adventure X can increase by about Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000. Even after this, this bike will be around Rs 60,000 cheaper than the standard 390 Adventure.
