India vs New Zealand: New Zealand cricket team will tour India early next year, where it will likely play a series of three ODIs and five T20 Internationals.

The New Zealand cricket team is scheduled to tour India in early next year with its itinerary set to include three ODIs and five T20 Internationals. Jaipur, Mohali, Indore, Rajkot, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Trivandrum and Nagpur are the eight venues that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shortlisted for the purpose. Other venues are also in contention for this series in early next year.
The Indian cricket squad is currently on tour in England to play a five-match Test series. The Indian cricket team will then tour Bangladesh to play three ODIs and three T20 Internationals after the five-match Test series in England. The Indian team will then play the Asia Cup afterwards.
The Indian team's domestic calendar will start with the West Indies tour in October, where it will play two Test series in Ahmedabad (2 to 6 October 2025) and New Delhi (10 to 14 October 2025). After this, the Indian team will go to Australia to play three ODIs and 5 T20 Internationals from 19 October to 8 November.
After the end of the Australia tour, the Indian team will play two Test matches (in Kolkata and Guwahati), three ODIs (Ranchi, Raipur and Vizag) against South Africa on the home ground in November-December. After that, the Indian team will also play 4 T20 Internationals against the South African team in Cuttack, New Chandigarh, Dharamsala and Lucknow.
After this, next year the Indian team will likely play eight white ball matches against New Zealand in January. After the end of the match against New Zealand, the T20 World Cup to be held in India and Sri Lanka will be played in February-March. The IPL will be held immediately after the ICC event.
The schedule for the New Zealand series will be finalised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Apex Council on Saturday evening (14 June 2025). The meeting will be held online at 4 pm, in which the BCCI will also finalise the guidelines for IPL victory celebrations for franchises, the new age-verification process and the domestic cricket calendar for the upcoming season.
