Iraq attacked Kuwait in 1990. British passengers and crew also became victims of this war between Iraq and Kuwait. British passengers and crew were taken hostage in that war. Now British Airways passengers and crew members who were on that flight intend to take legal action against the British government and the airline. A law firm gave this information on Tuesday.

According to news agency FP, all the passengers of BA Flight 149 were removed from the flight when Saddam Hussein's forces attacked Kuwait a few hours earlier. In this case, the passengers allege that if the British Ambassador to Kuwait had informed the Airways then why was the flight landed there?

Some of the 367 passengers and crew on board the flight spent more than four months in captivity. Some passengers were also used by Iraqi forces as human shields against Western attacks in the ongoing war between Iraq and Kuwait.

Representing a group of former BA staff and passengers on board the plane, McCue Jury & Partners said all the victims on board the flight are taking legal action to ensure the truth is fully revealed, and those responsible are held accountable. Be held accountable and appropriate compensation paid.
