Uproar over dairy booth allocation: MLA Lahoti gave letter to DLB director

Jaipur's Sanganer MLA and former Mayor Ashok Lahoti objected to the interview to be conducted for the allocation of dairy booths in the Jaipur Municipal Corporation Greater Area. Questioning the process of the lottery, the MLA has given a letter to the director of the Directorate of Autonomous Governance, Hridesh Sharma, demanding its cancellation and an inquiry against the responsible officials. Not only this, he warned the officers that if there is any misunderstanding, then remove them. After the next 6 months, when the government will change, we will get the matter investigated and action will be taken against those responsible.
In a three-page letter given by Lahoti, it was told that about 22,000 applications were received for booth allotment at 563 places in the Greater Area, out of which 12,000 applications were rejected. Out of the remaining 10,000, a lottery was drawn and out of them, 2252 were shortlisted for interview.
He said – Why was the lottery not conducted according to the number of people who applied at some place? Giving an example, he said that suppose 20 people had applied for booth allotment at a place, then the lottery was also to be drawn from among those 20 applicants, but by not doing so, the lottery was drawn for that place involving 10,000 people. Gave. In such a situation, the names of 20 people who applied for the allotment of that place did not come and the name of someone else came, who does not want a dairy booth there, then why did they do this?
Lahoti also raised questions on the interview process and said that after the lottery, 4 people have been called for an interview for a dairy booth. But what will be the basis of passing and failing in the interview, it has not been decided. The people sitting in the government will ask questions at will and will pass what has to be passed and will not do what is not to be done. Because in this interview, neither education has been considered as the basis for the people have given priority to the local people. In this interview, he accused the dairies of being monkeys and allotting them to the favourites of Congress.
