Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Royal Enfield introduced a new color of its Guerrilla 450 motorcycle during the GRRR Nights X Underground event held in Pune. This special paint scheme has been launched under the name 'Shadow Ash', which is available for its Dash variant.

Royal Enfield launched a new shade of its Guerrilla 450 motorcycle at the GRRR Nights X Underground event in Pune. This unique color scheme has been offered under the 'Shadow Ash' moniker and can be had for its Dash model. The company has priced it around Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). This version features an olive-green fuel tank with black trim, and the company's Tripper Dash Console is also offered in it.
The Guerilla 450 uses the same Sherpa 450 engine that is used in the Himalayan 450. It is a 452 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 39.52 bhp of power at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. It has a 6-speed gearbox, with which a slip and assist clutch is also provided. However, the engine mapping has been tuned differently for the Guerilla 450.
During riding, this engine reaches the redline quickly and encourages you to ride at higher speeds. Slight vibrations are definitely felt, but it is part of the bike's character. The gearbox is smooth, and the clutch is also very light.
The Guerilla 450 gets a fully digital instrument cluster similar to the Himalayan 450, which also includes Google Maps support. At the same time, its lower variant has a digital display and tripper pod with an analog cluster, which is also available in bikes like Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650. Apart from this, it has a USB charging port, hazard lights, two riding modes, ride-by-wire technology, and LED lighting.
This motorcycle has a tubular frame, in which the engine acts as a structural part. 43 mm telescopic forks have been given in the front and monoshock suspension in the rear. The front suspension offers a travel of 140 mm and the rear 150 mm. For braking, a 310 mm disc has been installed in the front and a 270 mm disc in the rear. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that come with 120/70 tyres at the front and 160/60 tyres at the rear.
The launch event was actually part of a larger show that included drag races, drift shows, and music performances. Over 3,000 people attended the evening. Riding clinics and bike tryouts were also held. Stunt rider Akiladas T.D. tried to break his own record of most drift circles in 43.48 seconds on a Guerilla 450.
The atmosphere was further enhanced by performances by DJs Cretex, Frankie, and Talam. Apart from this, the Street Force crew presented a rap and dance show. Stunt artists Padma Prashant, Sanam Sekhon, Jeet Tapasvi, and Anish Shetty also thrilled the audience with their amazing stunts.
