Renault has introduced the 2025 facelift model (2025 Renault Kiger) of its sub-compact SUV Kiger in the Indian market. The vehicle has arrived with a lot of changes in design and features. With all these new updates, the 2025 Renault Kiger facelift will now provide stiff competition to SUVs such as Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Frontx, Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Nissan Magnite in the market.
The 2025 Renault Kiger facelift has been provided a fresh look. Its front bumper and headlamps have received a new design, giving it an even more beautiful look. No modifications have been introduced in the LED DRL. The new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels in the side profile give it a sporty look, while minor changes have been made at the rear. Apart from this, it is now also available in new color options like "Oasis Yellow" and "Shadow Gray".
The company has changed the variant strategy of Kiger. It has variants like Authentic, Evolution, Techno and Emotion. The company has fixed the starting ex-showroom price of Kiger at less than Rs 6.50 lakh. The interior of the new Kiger has also been completely updated. It has a new dual-tone dashboard, which gets an 8.0-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Apart from this, the interior also gets 'Noir' and 'Cool Gray' themes and new upholstery. Renault claims that the cabin is now quieter than before due to better sound insulation. The list of features also includes a 360-degree surround view camera, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers.
The 2025 Renault Kiger facelift is also better in terms of safety. It now has six airbags as standard, along with over 21 active and passive safety features, including Hill Hold Assist (HSA) and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). It also has features like ESP, traction control and ISOFIX mounts.
While there have been changes in the design and features, the Kiger remains the same in terms of engine. It gets the option of a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The naturally aspirated engine produces 72 bhp of power and 96 Nm of torque, while the turbo-petrol engine generates 100 bhp of power and 160 Nm of torque. For transmission, there is a choice of 5-speed manual, 5-speed AMT and CVT gearbox. According to the company, the naturally aspirated engine gives a mileage of 19.83 kmpl and the turbo-petrol engine gives a mileage of 20.38 kmpl.
