Asia Cup 2025 is prepared to be organized by Rajgir Hero of Bihar. Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya released the trophy on Monday. This tournament will be held from 29 August to 7 September, for which Indian captain Harmanpreet Singh is extremely enthusiastic. He hopes that the Indian team will play outstandingly in this tournament.

Harmanpreet Singh said, "Our preparation has been excellent. We were also in camp for the last one and a half months. We also had a tour. Hopefully, we will perform well in the first match. Both 'D' are important in hockey. You have to play well on whatever chance you are getting. We performed well on the Australian tour. There was a team of 24 players; everyone performed well." The 12th Hockey Asia Cup is being played without Pakistan. The Indian captain said, "If Pakistan's team played in the Asia Cup, the fans would have been entertained. Fans' emotions are attached during the India-Pakistan match. For some reason, Pakistan's team is not playing in this tournament, but someday in the future we will definitely play against them."

Bihar is going to host the Men's Hockey Asia Cup for the first time. Harmanpreet Singh hopes that his team will get a lot of love from the fans here. He said, "Women have also played hockey matches in Bihar. Their game was appreciated a lot. A large number of people came to watch their match. I hope that similar love will be seen in the Men's Asia Cup as well."
