Fitness Alert: Symptoms During Workout That May Point to Heart Attack

Nowadays, people have become aware of fitness. All are visiting the gym, doing exercise. But are you aware that certain minor signs experienced during exercise in the gym may be a serious risk to your health? Most of the time, people take fatigue, slight chest pain, or breathlessness during exercise as normal, but these are occasionally early indicators of a heart attack. If these are neglected over time, it can prove to be dangerous. Know about some potential signs that appear during exercise and which must never be neglected.

Difficulty breathing

It is normal to feel short of breath, but difficulty in taking deep breaths or feeling suffocated without any reason is a matter of concern. This happens when the heart is unable to pump blood properly, and the lungs do not get the required oxygen.

Sudden dizziness or feeling lightheaded

If you suddenly get dizzy or light-headed during exercise, it is not right to ignore it by attributing it to mere fatigue. This could potentially mean that the heart is not receiving enough oxygen, and the brain is also not receiving the proper amount of blood supply. Continuously doing so is an indication of a severe heart condition.

Pain in the arm, throat or jaw along with the chest

The most frequent symptom of a heart attack is pain in the chest. But sometimes this might radiate to the left arm, throat, or jaw. If there is pain or unusual heaviness in these areas during exercise, immediately stop the exercise and visit a physician.
