Xiaomi Launches Care & Connect Service Week: Up to 50% Off on Battery Replacements

Xiaomi has released a limited-period battery replacement deal as part of the Care and Connect Service Week in India. For the remainder of this week, the Chinese brand is providing huge discounts on battery replacement on various Xiaomi and Redmi phones. Besides discounted battery service, users can also get free software updates and free device health check-ups. According to Xiaomi, users will also get free cleaning and sanitization services for their device. The company has said that this offer will be valid till August 30.

According to a recent post by Xiaomi on @Xiaomi (formerly Twitter), the company has launched a limited-time service campaign called Care & Connect Service Week in India, which will run from August 25 to August 30. As part of this initiative, the company is offering up to 50 percent discount on battery replacement for a range of Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones.

Apart from the battery replacement discounts, Xiaomi is also offering free software upgrades so that the devices run on the latest MIUI (or HyperOS) version. Xiaomi and Redmi users will also benefit from free device health check-ups, which will include diagnostics of essential components and overall performance. Apart from this, the brand is also offering free cleaning and sanitization services to further improve device security.

Xiaomi users can take advantage of these services at the company's authorized Xiaomi service centers within the offer's validity. This move is particularly helpful for users who have older smartphones or experience issues such as battery drain and slow charging. These customers can get their battery replaced at a low cost under the time-limited program.

The price of battery replacement will vary from device to device. Users will be charged according to their specific smartphone model, with discounts applied.

The Redmi 15 5G was launched in the second week of August. This is Xiaomi's latest offering in India. Its 6GB + 128GB variant has a starting price of Rs 14,999. Its most special feature is the 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 33W fast charging support. It is the first smartphone in its segment to feature advanced silicon-carbon battery technology, which gives extended battery life. It has a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset and a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit.
