The Prime Minister's Office i.e., PMO) address is going to shift. The PMO is currently in South Block, which will be relocated to Executive Enclave next month.

This new enclave developed under the Central Vista Project will also have the Cabinet Secretariat, National Security Council Secretariat, and a state-of-the-art conferencing facility besides the Prime Minister's Office.

It should be noted that the new PMO is closest to the Prime Minister's house. The existing PMO in South Block is devoid of up-to-date facilities. There is also a deficiency of space at the same time.

According to the information, the new PMO can also be named something new. The Prime Minister had said in his address before his third term that the PMO should belong to the public. This is not Modi's PMO.

Recently, Prime Minister Modi, while inaugurating the new office of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Personnel, 'Kartavya Bhawan-3', said that the administrative machinery is still working from British-era buildings, where there is lack of light and ventilation.

North Block and South Block have been the center of work of the Government of India for the last 8 decades. Both the blocks will be converted into a public museum called 'Yuge Yugin Bharat Sangrahalaya'.
