Ukraine will not get F-16 fighter; Biden did not agree

America will not give its F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine to fight Russia. In a press conference on Monday, January 30, Biden rejected Ukraine's demand. A reporter had asked Biden whether he would give F-16 jets to Ukraine, to which he said no.
Before Biden, Germany also flatly refused to send its fighter jets to Ukraine. Ukraine may be very disappointed with this decision. In fact, after receiving the Leopard tank last week, the Defense Minister of Ukraine demanded fighter jets. He had asked to form a fighter jet alliance with the US and western countries so that the course of the war could be changed.
According to a BBC report, the F-16 Falcon is considered one of the world's most reliable fighter jets. Apart from America, Belgium and Pakistan also use them a lot.
According to the report, if Ukraine had got these fighter jets, it would surely have benefited from the war. In fact, Ukraine is still using fighter jets made during the 30-year-old Soviet era, which have not proved to be very effective in the war.
On Sunday, January 29, the Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, gave the interview. In this, he said that immediately after accepting the demand for tanks, it is wrong for Ukraine to ask for fighter jets. He said that only Ukraine is fighting the war with Russia, not NATO, and we cannot increase the scope of the war by sending weapons.
Ukraine was quite confident that they would get fighter planes. This can be gauged from the fact that last week the advisor to the Defense Minister had even said that he can get any weapon from America and western countries leaving nuclear.
After the announcement of giving Leopard and Abrams tanks to Ukraine, Russia accused America and Western countries of proxy war. Russia's ambassador to Germany, Sergei Neshayev, had said that an attempt is being made to raise the level of war by sending tanks to Ukraine. Russia will never approve of this. Countries sending tanks to Ukraine will have to bear the brunt of this.
