Lok Sabha Election Result 2024: Sikkim Krantikari Morcha has continued its success in the Lok Sabha elections as well. Its candidate Indra Hang Subba has been elected MP for the second time from the only seat of Sikkim. He has a total of 164369 votes. Subba, who was in the news for voting against the Citizenship Amendment Act while being in the BJP alliance in the last term, was given a ticket by SKM this time.

Sikkim Krantikari Morcha, which performed well in the assembly elections for the second consecutive time two days ago, has continued its success in the Lok Sabha elections as well.

Its candidate, Indra Hang Subba, was elected MP for the second time from Sikkim's only seat. He received a total of 1,64,369 votes. Indra Hang Subba defeated Bharat Basnet, the CAP candidate, by 80,803 votes. Prem Das Rai of the main rival, the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF), received 77,171 votes, while Citizen Action Party candidate Bharat Basnet received 83,566.

Subba, who was in the news for voting against the Citizenship Amendment Act while in the BJP alliance the previous term, was given a ticket by SKM this time. On the other hand, BJP candidate Dinesh Chandra Nepal received 19,035 votes, while Indian National Congress candidate Gopal Chhetri received 22,41 votes.
