Conspiracy to Target Acharya Prashant Through Fake Poster Exposed
A well-planned, malicious attempt to tarnish Acharya Prashant's reputation recently surfaced through a fake poster.

A well-planned, malicious attempt to tarnish Acharya Prashant's reputation recently surfaced through a fake poster. This poster falsely claimed that he had called the Kumbh Mela a superstition. However, upon thorough investigation, we discovered that the claim was entirely fabricated, and there is no evidence to suggest that Acharya Prashant had ever made such a statement.
The individual responsible for spreading this misinformation planted a handwritten poster, falsely attributing the statement “Kumbh... a superstition” to Acharya Prashant. This person had no connection to his NGO.
Mohan Singh, a former soldier who was present at the Kumbh during the incident, revealed that the event was part of a calculated conspiracy. First, the fake poster was spread, and then a group of pre-planned miscreants set fire to religious texts like the Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Mahabharata, Durga Saptashati, Shiva Sutras, and Ramayana, which were being distributed by volunteers of PrashantAdvait Foundation. Along with this, innocent volunteers, who were merely distributing the books, were physically attacked.
The tragedy of this incident lies not only in the destruction of sacred texts but in the larger attack on the spirit of Sanatan Dharma, which Acharya Prashant has worked tirelessly to preserve and propagate. For years, Acharya Prashant has dedicated himself to the intellectual and spiritual revival of Vedantic principles, bringing people back to the authentic teachings of Sanatan Dharma. His relentless efforts focus on demystifying the true essence of ancient scriptures, breaking free from the dogma that have, over time, clouded the understanding of the Hindu faith.
Through his talks, writings, and public engagement, Acharya Prashant has emphasized the need for a return to the core of Vedantic wisdom, a wisdom that transcends ritualistic practices and superficial beliefs. His teachings call for a deeper, more profound understanding of life, emphasizing that real spirituality is not about blind adherence to customs, but about inner transformation, self-realization, and living in alignment with universal truths.
Further investigation revealed that some digital media outlets and YouTubers played a significant role in the spread of this false information. Institutions like Jaipur Dialogues (with Sanjay Dixit), India Speaks Daily (with Sanjay Dev), and ABP News were involved in circulating the fake news.
This conspiracy, executed during a sacred event like the Mahakumbh, is not just tragic—it’s an attack on the very core of religious tradition. Acharya Prashant’s work, which aims to reconnect people with the spiritual truths of Sanatan Dharma, was clearly targeted in an attempt to derail his efforts. By focusing on reforming society through spiritual knowledge and wisdom, Acharya Prashant has become a beacon of hope for many who seek authenticity in their religious practices.
This incident serves as a cautionary reminder to society, urging individuals to critically evaluate information and verify facts before accepting them as truth. It also highlights the urgent need for more platforms to present truth in the face of falsehoods, especially in an age where social media can easily be manipulated to spread lies. As Acharya Prashant continues to work towards a more enlightened society, it is clear that his mission to protect and preserve the true essence of Sanatan Dharma will remain unwavering despite these malicious efforts to defame him.
