The heat wave in Rajasthan has intensified further. On Friday, 14 cities in the state recorded maximum temperatures of 33°C or higher. Several cities, including Bikaner and Churu, experienced above-normal temperatures. The mercury also increased by about 2°C in Jaipur, Alwar, Sikar, and Pilani.

However, a slight weather change was observed in the afternoon, with many areas, such as Jaipur, Sikar, Churu, and Jhunjhunu, experiencing partly cloudy skies. Weather experts predict that clear weather will persist for the next few days. Over the past 24 hours, most parts of the state enjoyed clear skies and bright sunshine, with some light clouds appearing late in the evening over Sikar, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Nagaur, Jaipur, Alwar, and Kota divisions.

According to the two-week forecast from the Meteorological Center in New Delhi, temperatures are expected to be 3 to 4 degrees above normal in western and northern Rajasthan, likely intensifying the heat. The highest temperature was recorded in Barmer at 35.2°C. Jaisalmer and Chittorgarh recorded 34.8°C.

Both day and night temperatures are rising, with the cold nearly gone from the western districts. Phalodi recorded a minimum temperature of 22.2°C. Barmer had 20.5°C, Chittorgarh 19.4°C, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur 18.4°C, and Bikaner 18.5°C. Even at night, the cold effects have almost disappeared in these cities.
